Using the Internet to make money is a decision a person shouldn't take lightly. If you are determined to earn an Internet income it will have to be seriously approached. People jump online to make money expecting way too much so failure becomes inevitable. Are you making the same 4 mistakes others are making to fail?
1. Bad Advice - following the wrong advice can hurt your chances of succeeding at making money online because some of the information you are getting is coming from people who are either cynical, jealous, greedy, ignorant or just plain uninformed. Ultimately, you will have to test and track things to determine if something works for you or not. More importantly don't just jump into something before doing extensive research to ensure you are on the right path. Choose the right people to follow.
2. Greed - let's not beat around the bush, when we come online to make money that is what we want - MONEY! There is nothing wrong with that but what are you doing to make that money? Are you lowering your standards? Are you becoming someone you really aren't? Are you genuinely helping others or are you screwing them over? Become successful helping others and avoid damaging your reputation.
3. Lack of Action - talking a good game is easy but taking action and executing your plan is what separates the successful people from those failing and blaming everyone else for those failures. It's easy to place blame on all other outside forces for not accomplishing goals but if you exert that negativity into positivity by fighting through the obstacles you will be much better for it. Success takes time but if you don't actually work hard at it how can you ever get there?
4. Uninformed - all of the above means squat if you are not following the basics in whatever you decide to do. Every successful platform has important steps people have followed to succeed. It's a guarantee those who have actually succeeded followed the exact or similar formula to reach the top. When you start trying to re-invent the wheel or let yourself be influenced by others who care very little about your success it will hurt you. Keep yourself informed and make sure to follow the basics.
